Hi There
Ive just recently updated my website to the new Catch Everest Theme. Now it seems the Homepage layout doesn’t match the old layout. The Front page header images are now static and no longer change. Even when pressing the arrows. I also no longer have the translucent type boxes over these images?
Also the menu bar is now below the image? It looks nothing like the old layout or the layouts I see when on catch Everest website.
All the above used to be fine on the older version. I don’t use my website for blogs or posts. its basically just a contact and gallery space. How do I get the correct layout and get the front page to show multiple images Ive selected (with the title box/type).
thanks

To have moving images like in the demo you will need to use the Featured Slider section
Go to => Appearance => Customize => Featured Slider => Slider Options => Select Slider Type and Add some posts with featured images. The demo is made using the pro version of the theme so some features you see in the demo will not be available in the free version you are using.
Let me know what changes you would like to be made.
Kind Regards,

thanks you for your input. Its got me a step closer to putting my website back to how it was before the update. However I get stuck after the select slider type. So I select the slider. then I need to head to post sections of WordPress and create some new posts?
Ive tried this but it still looked nothing like the Demo and how my old website used to look.I just want the website to roll through a few images with captions on front page like the free demo ?
I don’t use my website for blogs or posts so this is all a bit alien to me.
I just need a few images to change when the arrows are clicked or automatically.
this used to work on my old website now problem, but after update everything seems different ?Any further help would be much appreciated.
regards

I checked your site and you seem to have setup a slider with few images and captions. Is there anything you want to add to this?Kind Regards,
