Catch Everest – change footer information and menu bar placement?

Hi, I’m using the free Catch Everest theme and am wondering if I can move the “home” link; it currently is overlapped by the sliders, so it would be nice to either put it elsewhere or move it to the right.

I would also like to change the copyright information on the footer. Is there a way to do that? I haven’t done any CSS but am willing to learn.
